A vegetarian in simple terms would be one who removes any animal meat from his/her diet for reasons that may vary from health culture, religion, or ethics. However, there are variants of the diet such as lacto- ovo , lactoard ovo-vegetarian. Lacto-ovo vegetarians do not eat slaughtered meat but include eggs, dairy and honey in their diet. Lacto vegetarians only include products produced by animals such as milk or honey, while ovo vegetarians stay away from meats and dairy products.

Nilagang Pasko, Pinaso and Soreche for Noche Buena

I’m not aware that there are dishes that we Filipinos hve already forgotten. Like for example the Nilagang Pasko , Pinaso and Soreche from Bulacan. Our Ninuno or forefathers enjoyed those dishes during Christmas Season. The nilagang pasko is composed of chicken, beef and pork boiled with vegetables like cabbage, pechay and string beans.

Razon’s Halo-Halo

Simply delicious as many people who have tried this halo halo since there are only 4 main ingredients that compose this dessert: matamis na saba, leche flan, macapuno and lots of fresh milk. Looks delicious even if you have not tasted it because of the generous leche flan on top of the crushed ice and fresh milk of course. Unlike the traditional halo-halo with the combination of sweetened garbanzos, red monggo, kaong, nata de coco, ube halaya, saging na saba, kamote and ice cream.
