Chow Mien With Tofu (Tokwa)


Ingredients:

1 cup pancit canton
1 onion, sliced
1 & 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 squares tokwa, sliced thin, and fried Garlic
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 cup gluten
2 tablespoons cornstarch in 1/2 cup water
Salt

How to cook Chow Mien With Tofu:

  • Braise garlic and onion. Add gluten, tokwa, water and soy sauce.
  • Let simmer until sauce is a little thick. Add mushrooms. Cook a few minutes.
  • Add salt, if needed, and thickening. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Mix in canton and remove from fire. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
