1/2 kilo bamboo shoots, sliced thinly and blanched
5 segments garlic, crushed
4 cups string beans, cut into 1-inch lengths
1/4 cup kalamansi juice 1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup vegemeat, cut fine
1/2 cup vegetable broth
Salt to taste
How to cook Bamboo Shoots And String Beans Adobo:
- Heat oil, sauté garlic and onion. Add vegemeat. Add vegetables and stock and let simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Add kalamansi juice and simmer until liquid evaporates. Season with salt. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
