Pickled Mangoes

  • Cut 3 fresh green mangoes into 1/3 inch thick strips with or without skin.

  • Throw away seeds.

  • Place mangoes in a clean glass jar.

  • Add 1 tablespoon salt and water barely to cover the pieces.

  • Mangoes will be ready to serve in 3 to 4 days.
