Coleslaw (with Cooked Dressing)

Ingredients:

1 large cabbage, shredded
1 large onion, sliced
1-1/4 cup vinegar
1c. vinegar
3/4 cup salad oil
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
dash of MSG

 

How to make coleslaw:

  • Arrange cabbage and onions in a serving bowl.

  • Combine sugar, vinegar, salad oil, mustard, celery seed, salt, and
    MSG until well-blended.

  • Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Pour cooked mixture over cabbage and onions.

  • Allow to set for 3 hours. Stir coleslaw and refrigerate. Serve cold.
