Pastillas De Gabi ( Taro Root )


Ingredients:

2 cups young gabi, boiled and coarsely chopped
1 (300 ml) can condensed milk
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar

How to make Pastillas De Gabi ( Taro Root )

  • Blender gabi and condensed milk until smooth.
  • Cook over low heat in saucepan.
  • When thick, add confectioner’s sugar.
  • Continue cooking until almost dry.
  • Transfer into butter-greased pan. Then cut into desired pieces.
  • Roll in granulated sugar.
  • Serve or wrap in colorful Japanese paper or cellophane.
