Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter
1 can condensed milk
2 pcs potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 pc carrot, shredded
1/2 cup white sugar
How to make Potato Pastillas
- Melt butter over low heat. Add condensed milk and stir well.
- Slowly add the mashed potato and shredded carrot while stirring continuously.
- Cook until mixture thickens. Spread evenly on a greased baking tray and allow to cool.
- Cut into 1/2 inch slices and 2 inch long strips. Roll each in sugar before wrapping in a cellophane. Makes 20 pastillas.
