Gabi (Taro Root) Jam
Ingredients:
1 large gabi head
1-2 cups coconut milk (depending upon the size of the gabi)
Sugar
How to make Gabi (Taro Root) Jam
- Cut the gabi head in half. Boil it until it is soft.
- Mash or grind it finely.
- Mix the ground gabi with the coconut milk in a pan.
- Cook over moderate flame.
- When the mixture is about to dry up, add sugar to taste.
- Let it cool to room temperature, and store in glass jars.
