Gabi(Taro Root) Jam

Ingredients:

1     large gabi head
Sugar
1-2  cups coconut milk
(depending upon the size of the gabi)

 

How to make Gabi (Taro Root) Jam

  • Cut the gabi head in half. Boil it until it is soft.

  • Mash or grind it finely.

  • Mix the ground gabi with the coconut milk in a pan.

  • Cook over moderate flame.

  • When the mixture is about to dry up, add sugar to taste.

  • Let it cool to room temperature, and store in glass jars.
