Ingredients:
2 tbsp Magnolia Gold butter
1 tsp rum or any orange liquor
2 pcs sliced bananas (saba or lakatan)
1/4 cup brown sugar
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
Toppings:
prepared whipped cream
prepared caramel sauce
chopped nuts
mint leaves
How to make Bananas Foster
- For the caramel sauce: Melt butter in a pan. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Cook for 4 minutes over moderate heat. Transfer bananas on individual serving containers.
- Garnish bananas with whipped cream, chopped nuts, caramel sauce and mint leaves.
