Nata-Mango Pie

 

Ingredients:

1pc pie crust base 9" shell with fluted edge
1/4 cup light syrup (1/6 cup sugar + 3/16 cup water)
2-3 pcs ripe mangoes
1/4 tsp vanilla oil
1 cup Jo-na's Sweet Nata de Coco
 1 large egg, beaten
1/4 granulated sugar 
2 tbsps all-purpose flour

 

How to make Nata-Mango Pie

  • Prebake regular pie crust. Drain bottled nata de coco.

  • Peel mangoes and slice lengthwise, making four to five strips (about 3 to 5 mm thick) and cut remaining mango pulp into cubes.

  • Mix sliced mango with light syrup. Set aside.

  • Combine remaining ingredients then pour over prebaked crust.

  • Arrange mango strips on crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve cold.
