Custard Pie
Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten slightly
2-1/2 cups hot milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
How to cook Custard Pie:
- Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well. Pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes then at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes
out clean.
- Yield: one 9-inch pie for 6 servings.
